OK, here we go.
This is a resin transkitof the nice Minardi M188 with which Luis Perez Sala, Adrian Campos and Pierluigi Martinicompeted of FIA F1 world championship in 1988. Kit is new and unstarted, all is resin. Parts are nicely cast, and bodywork is really nice with crisp detail and panel lines, well proportioned shapes that depit well the elegant single seater.
Transkit is designed to use parts from a Tamiya MP4/4 (NOT INCLUDED!!!)
Some details:
PARTS:
Bodywork, seat/chassis interior, flat bottom supplementary parts, radiator exit lower sections, front wing (4 parts), rollover bar, rims.
DONOR:
Rest, you'll take from your favourite MP4/4. Nature of needed parts and its low exposure will even allow to use that yellowed bad painted Mac.
BUILD:
Bodywork suits the flat bottom as if it was a Big T built part, you only have to leave there the rear gear, rear wing included.
Suspension attachment is designed so you'll assemble front suspension without pain. You'll use also Mac's instrument panel, steering wheel, gear lever and radiators.
POSSIBILITIES
Bodywork is reasonably thin so the brave might attempt to cut rear part and make a detailed engine kit... though the trans is not designed for that. Just that, at least, it's not the classical massive resin block that you just can't shovel.
You might add an engine intake (a bit of plastic and a bit of putty) and make the late season version. Decals would allow that.
BTW: decals for all three drivers, but this time NO HELMET OR SUIT DECALS...
You'll have to add some basic bits of plastic sheet to do wing endplates, Templates are included on the instructions. Also you will have to use some needle (of those seen at home) to do some steering rod or so.
Decals, ALPS printed, are nice and COMPLETE and you can understand that.
The kit is brand "1-sapito".
Kit is really easy to assemble, parts fit really well.
Price: 106 $ SHIPPING BY REGISTERED MAIL INCLUDED.
Shipping is Worldwide by registered letter which means 1- it'll arrive at your door and 2- it'll be trakable as long as Mail personnel do their job properly, shipping number will be given.
