Nice progress on these classic kits. Who makes the belts? They look pretty nice.

What was the source of the BT33's paint. Looks like you hit right on! I still need to build my Union BT33 and I wanted that turquoise/ yellow stripe version and not the BRG/yellow.
They do look goood!

Patrick - the blue is the kit (heller) original colour - the yellow Tamiya X5. The wings have had two coats. The centre strip also two coats, whereas the yellow trim around the nose only 1 - and it needs another (plus maybe some masking) to finish it.
I have reference pics of the car in both the blue colour (as seen here) and the turquoise. I'm not sure what colour you would need for the turquoise. The heller instructions don't mention painting the blue - only the yellow trim.

Hi Scran. Check at www.gurneyflap.com, you'll se good pictures about the BT33, i have one in building ( don't know when will be finished. . .), including the cockpit/chassis. I guy from Gremany sent good pictures to me (John W) and i started to add some chassis/cockpit detail, the kit has some inacuracies, but easy to resolve. Cheers. Alex PS: Patrick, i have good knews for you, jus wait a little, ok ?
