Haven't really posted any of the build of the Tamiya 1/20 Lotus 79 since it's OOB, and Chaparral2K posted his WIP on the same F1 Lotus 79 Last month. I'm just about done decaling the various body sections and thought I would post some pictures of what has to be the most difficult decaling job I've ever experienced. I'm about 95% done with the decaling at this point, and I've put in a solid 7 hours at the bench to get this far. Will be glossing all body sections with Testors Glosscoat when I'm done decaling. Then it's back to finishing up a great kit. The decals are by Indycals. This was my 1st time using his Alps decals, but it won't be my last time. The paint is Tamiya Gloss Black out of the rattle can, then rubbed out with rubbing compound (only the areas that had a little orange peel), then polished with polishing compound.

Looks to me Joel that your decaling time was well worth it! Very nice job.
