Yes they got there constructors championship, but the one championship they will most likely loose is the Drivers? Which in turn more people remember over the constructors.
So instead of Fernando Alonso wins the Drivers championship but Red Bull wins the constructors....... The news papers around the world will say Fernando Alonso wins the championship in his Ferrari
IMO no one outside of the sport really cares about the constructors points as much a drivers championship.
So bad move IMO for red bull

AHHHH but people do want to know what kind of a car that Champion was driving wether they are the constructors champ or not. Without the constructors championship why not just everybody buy the same thing and make it a Spec series like the current Indycar series is ( sad but true!!) I follow the constructors closer than the drivers because I enjoy seeing what new ideas they come up with (every week, every race) and the technologies involved.. The cars and their quest to gain a competitive edge are actually more exciting than the races, well most of the time... Chris

Well, Red Bull couldn't win the drivers championship in Brazil, but they could secure the builders championship. Although, I think it would have been better for Red Bull if Webber had won in Brazil.
Alonso MUST finish no worse then second in Abu Dhabi if Webber wins. (He'd need 17 points) He will have to finish no worse the 5th if Vettel wins. (He'd need 10 points to tie, which opens a whole new can of worms as they would both have 5 wins during the season)

I believe if they tie it would then go to Poles, then Weber would win!! I think it will be Alonzo and I think Massa will help (that will be controversial!!) , as long as Ferrari gives Alonzo a car to get him a car to get out front or at least stay in second or third.... Chris

You have to remember that Vettel is the favorite of the team owner, and if it is possible for him to win, the team will do everything possible. I do think, however, that if they are running like last race with Vettel first, Webber second, and Alonso third, Vettel will let Webber past for the championship. Team orders are, and always have been a part of F1, no matter what the FIA thinks. I think that Alonso is the best driver in F1 currently, and if he is running first or second it will be almost impossible for him to lose the title. Webber and Alonso can't tie, however Vettel and Alonso can. That would be very interesting. Massa and Button are good team players, and I don't Vettel is, but he will help Webber if he must. We will see. I could be wrong about all of this, but that's the way I see it. Take Care Craig
