Hello Everyone,
I was lucky enough to catch my good friend Bob at home this morning. He has been very busy and wanted me to assure all of you that have ordered drawings from him to please be patient, he'll get them out to you soon.
The man is a wonder. He has forgotten more than all of us brought together will ever know about cars and drivers of the 500.
We talked about Foyt, Ward and Danica. He enlightened me as to some of things Ms. Patrick went through this month of May. She couldn't burp without ABC taping it. Makes me thin I need to cut her some slack. Bob and I, are HUGE A.J. Foyt fans. We agree that we tie for first, with Lance Sellers a very close second. Bob has know Foyt personally for many, many years. Both Bob and I are old enough to remember the early days of Foyt beating the field at Langhorn by a lap, when it was the fastest dirt track in America.
Bob sends everyone his best and says thank you for all the orders, he'll get them out to you and to keep building. Bob is always good for your ego and always encourages you to try something new and different while building. As Bob says, "You'll never know, you can surprise yourself and find a new way of doing things." He's the best!
