Sometimes, it's not where you start, it's where you finish. I bought this "glue bomb" of "glue catcher" a few months ago off e-bay with other built-ups. It's headed for the Indianapolis Hall of Fame Museum display. When getting one of these beauties, first start by taking it apart easily. Then stripping the paint and rebuilding it. I'll keep you posted. "Glue Bombs" are a great way to getting what you want without paying collector prices. Give one a try! Best to you Russ

Hi Russ,
I agree, getting an old built up can be a very good way to build a model that might otherwise be too pricey. Best of luck with this one, but I do not doubt that it will end up a real beauty!

That is really a great term, "glue bombs". I like that. It sounds like something from WWII. I have a glue and paint bomb in the form of a 1975 Johnny Rutherford driven Gatorade McLaren. It must have at least 4 coats of paint on it and I'm sure there are suspension parts missing. Any tips on how to procede?

Yes, I have a tip! Get a set of instructions and let me know what parts you need. I have several built-ups I rob for parts and would be happy to help you out if I can.

HEY STONE!
If you need an instruction sheet have one, take an inventory of parts you need and e-mail me. I only about four or five of the those suckers around to steal parts from.
Best to you
Russ
