I just got my kit from Bill J. I didn't know quite what to expect, but I was very surprised to find the kit has no assembly instructions or suggestions for finishing the kit. Can any of you provide photos, drawings, suggestions, etc. on how to finish the front and rear suspension/drive train, mounting the uprights to the A arms in the front suspension, adding any details to the rear of the car, and adding detail to the turbo exhaust area? I guess I wasn't ready for this type of project yet, but I know with everyone's help I can have a real neat car when it's done. Thanks to all for anything you can do.

You might try the Indianapolis Motor Speedway website and look for the Photo Department link, or Find a copy of the book Indy Car by Roger Huntington. It is from 1982, bbut had some good reference photos. Dale

I can get photos of the car. I should have asked for photos of this car that any of you have built. I've not done much scratch building and I know some of you have, so any photos of your solutions to this build would be welcome.

That was a problem of mine, and still is to an extent! Bill J does some really nice stuff, but you are left on your own to figure out what parts go where.

Obviously I'd like to keep supporting Bill as we need people like Bill and Lance. I just hope the frustration factor doesn't out-weigh the fun factor of building his kits.

Yes Bills kits can be frustrating but setting down and kinda figuring out how to build them is half the fun ;D. Sometimes by asking around you can get it done better than the instructions. Example: on the resin parts with a resin pin attached for mounting like the wings and sometimes suspension parts replace with thin strong wire like guitar string. Smaller hole, stronger and eaiser to ajust.

Starting a WIP here would probably allow others to chime in and help you!!

It's not a question of IF I will buy more of Bill's stuff, that is a no brainer! LOL!! And yes, Dr. Dave, figuring out where stuff goes is kinda fun.
I like the WIP idea, also! Bill <><

In time you will all find out I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Posting photos of a WIP may be beyond my grasp right now. I will however keep everyone involved in this project whether they want to be or not!! LOL. I'm still new to resin, I'm just finishing Lance's Lotus Turbine and then I think I'll start the 67 winner. Maybe after that I'll have enough gumption to start the Yellow Submarine and be able to give it what it deserves. Being part of this forum has done more to inspire me than anything else I've encountered in all the years I've been modeling. And to give you an idea how long that's been, I've still got a bottle of Testors paint with $.15 on the lid!!! You're all great, thanks for the response, especially Cal who has gone above and beyond. By the way, say some prayers for the folks in the flooded areas. I know Bill J had some problems at his house.
