Try a call to Peggy at Model Car Masterpeces, 714-557-7642. She has a big stock of 1/43 kits and might be able to help. Her shop in Costa Mesa, might even be in your neck of the woods. Have you been there?
Also try Grand Prix Models in the UK, they show the SMTS Paxton Turbine kit as "not in stock, available to order".

Checked my extra stock in 1/43. Sorry Russ I only had an exta of the Lotus 56. You may also want to try www.ghostmodels.com. Click on to the icon "kits,prints,books." They're getting $75.00 a pop, plus postage. That's not too bad for a 1/43.

Anybody had luck ordering from Ghost Models?

I've emailed him questions a few times before finishing an order and he never has written me back so I never have actually bought from him.

I forgot to mention Ghost Models in my earlier post, good thinking Jim! . I've ordered from him and not had a problem with the order, but I have on occasion had a problem getting in touch with him as well. One thing I learned is that the owner is an airline pilot who flies a US-UK route. He picks up a lot of his stock while over there, but it also makes it hard to communicate with him. His family runs things while he's away I presume.
