The March is built from the Bill Gebhardt vacuum formed body as described in Fine Scale Modeler. I ordered one of his bodies a week after that issue hit the newstands. It was the biggest modeling challenge I faced at the time. This model is now 23 years old. It is showing it's age! Decals are Fred Cady and the rest is kit-bashed. It still is one of my favorites, I still have 3 or 4 of the bodies and people are always amazed to see what I started with.

Nice build on that one! I know that was a lot of work because foolishly I bought several K-G Models kits of the March, wish I had bought Bill's bodies instead. Anyone else have any of K-G's "kits"?

That's a great job of the first IndyCar I can remember watching! I can't wait until I finally get one of my own - they are a little more rare 23 years later - lol.
This is very well executed - do you remember which kit you bashed? Wasn't the PC6 the recommended donor?
Nice job on this one - Sneva really was one to recon with back in this car. ;D

All parts other thanthe body came from the AMT Penske PC9. I saw this car run at Indy and Milwaukee. the 'Gasman' was always a threat wherever he raced.
