next to open wheel, these cars are my favorites.

Yeah. Why not? My guess is the expense. Audi is one of the engine manufacturerers looking at getting in. I don't know if the new engine rules accomodate diesels. I'll bet they show up in the future.

I didn't get a chance to see the race but I was shocked to see Audi's win and run the Peugeots into the ground (by just keeping the pressure on) Sounded really interesting. I love sportscar technology

Speed TV HD Rocked the Coverage, I couldnt turn it off either, when the leading Corvette was crashed out by the Puegoet or however you spell it, I was amazed at the team jumping on the car and rebuilding the entire rear of the car in a matter of 15 minutes or so... Great shots from the track and pits, interviews and articles that actually were interesting, aside from Dorsey running off at the mouth it was Great!!! I was so use to the crap of previous years I didnt record it now I wish I would have... Chris

Yeah, decent coverage. Surprising to see the Peugeots and the Corvettes DNF. The Peugeots literally went out in gush of flame and a puff of smoke. Back to the drawing boards for them. I was also surprised by the Saleens and Ford GTs in the GT1 class. I wonder why they don't run in North America.
