Thanks. I didn't realize how good looking some of the cars in the 2010 field were until I saw these photos. The #s 29, 99, 77, 78, and 30 are particularly striking.

Great shots Michael, especially the winners photos with Dario posing with Jamie McMurray and Chip.
Let me know how much the photos will be and how big the size is. I'll be able to see about purchasing later this week.

I'll be able to see about purchasing later this week. Here's what's available for purchase - the site that handles the processing automatically calculates what the largest sizes available are. I recommend the metallic paper over the standard - not because it costs more, but it really does make the images pop! Although generally it's not good for portraits. I do intend to eventually have all 33 cars in both galleries eventually. www.mp2photography.com/p75135676

Awesome! I bet it gave you chills to see the 73 Patrick Eagle and 70 JL Colt once again BTW nice Camaro pics, the 69 is my favorite pace car. I have an old pic of my dad standing next to one of the production 67 Pace car Camaro's back when he was a kid, that was taken somewere in Oregon. My uncle owns one of the production 1980 Turbo Trans-am's.... It'll go well with my 1:1 scale Chaparral 2k, if I can ever get it done.

Yeah, it was great seeing the STP Eagle and it's always great to see the Colt. I spoke to Walt Goodwin who restored the Eagle and he told me the following:
It has the original race winning engine (he showed the date stamp to me) It is not fluid ready (thus not in running condition)... yet. They do plan to run it at IMS next year. It will go into the museum and the fake 73 winner will go into the basement (hopefully never to be seen again). The plans to run it and museum display are subject to change as the car is for sale (but he did say that any sale would try to work in an agreement to run it at IMS next year).
It was also a nice bonus seeing the 1952 winner at the museum - had never seen that car before. The only exception I had with it is that it says "1952 Indianapolis 500 Winner" on the side of the car.

Michael, The car is owned by Californian, Bruce Meyer. I have spoken to him many times and he wants to buy my model of this car. The 52, "Agajainain Special" was a basket case when he bought it. He had it restored to running condition and it was the center piece of the Petersen Museum here in Los Angeles for years. He was very proud to have in seen for the first time restored by Troy Ruttman and other famous 500 drivers like Danny Sullivan, Dan Gurney and Rodger Ward. It's the real McCoy alright, I'm glad it made it to the museum! Best to you! Russ
