Are there any available decals to do using a Revell Reynard kit (any) as a Tony Kanaan car?
Thanks! Mongo

BTW Jordan were are you? There's been alot of Reynard talk going on and your not around ;D Was on vacation where I stayed offline to be with family. You guys did a good job on steering Mongo in the right direction - thanks! ;D Scale Coachworks has a site, too, and the guy that runs it is a member here. I might have to hit him up to how he is doing. Jordan

What would be a good kit for this car? I have a Revell Shell Reynard. It just depends how accurate you want it..... but a Pioneer, Motorola, or Miller Lite kits would be the correct ones to use, they're 1999 's. Your Shell car is a 1998. The differences are mostly in the side pods between the 1999 and 1998 cars, I bet Jordan can tell you more....

Revell did two years of kits the 98 Reynard produced in 1999 and the 99 Reynard produced in 2000. The 98 body came in several schemes from the factory - Shell, Target, Castrol, Visteon, and even a Forsythe version in Canada (they couldn't use actual Player's markings). Then the 99 body came in three schemes from the factory - Motorola, Miller Lite, and Pioneer. The differences from 98 to 99 are the sidepods, the road course front wings, rear wheel kickup/flugelhorns and the speedway rear wing. Also the Target and Visteon kits had OZ style rims while the remaining kits had BBS style rims. Here's a small pic of the 98 on top and the 99 on bottom. Will using the Miller, Motorola, or Pioneer kit for the Kanaan McDonalds car produce a more accurate build? You bet! Can you build this Kanaan car with this Shell kit? Sure! If anyone needs help - just keep posting ;D Jordan

Question On the side pods of the superspeedway Reynards, did they have the body work that goes under the rear suspension? (Like the Model its self is made) from looking at pictures it almost looks like there is no body work under the rear suspension on the superspeedway cars?

Is this decal available in 1/18 scale? What would be a correct diecast model to use as donor?
