Sounds interesting, horsepower figures seem rather low. At least we have a formula, any movement forward is a good thing.

It's a start, I predict a field full of 2.4 turbo V-6s. I wonder how they are gonna level the HP for, say a V-6 vs a straight 4.

They need to create incentive to deviate from the standard 2.4L 6 cylinder turbo. Hopefully they will do that.

Disliked ! To me, indycars have a "V8" tradition (except, off course, the OFFY), why only a "V6" engine ? I think that the engines must be free, these new rules (like F1) are "killing" the races. This is what i think. Cheers. Alexandre

Would you go for a Straight 8 Twin Turbo with a max displacement of 2.4L you could make one hell of an engine..... I think the rules may see some suprises. Add the green factor like KERs or similar systems and they may have something. KERS was a joke last year in F1 until the teams realized the advantages. now enough teams want it back that it will be legal again next year. I truely would like the rules to open up on chassis also.. I gotta build a model of what I wouls want a 2015 car to be like.
