Here's a little sweetie I've done the off and on dance with...a Brabham BT49 as first driven by Herr Lauda in Canada. The body is a Hot Wheels made in Italy I found some time ago. I used Michael's decals for the Brabham BT50 and modified them some... The white was designed for a white painted body so I'll have to buy a second set of decals to get the Parmalat writing whiter! The car's number should be a 5 but I didn't have a 5, but Herr Lauda's #1 in my book anyway. Almost ready for this final assembly. Patrick

1/25 i also have a "Hot Wheels" 1/25 Ligier JS17 Matra! I'd like to get a Brazilian March F2 that Trevor T. has. I don't know the maker.

As said it's 1/25 and requires some grinding with my trusty Dremel, but yes, Bernie had the car red, but only for the last 2 races of before the car was painted white and gain Pemex sponsorship. Discs and wheels should finish this puppy off.

Great job, Patrick: the original thing is truly a dog, so you're really upgrading it to a decent standard Well, actually PEMEX appeared in 1981. If you want it acurate, number should be 5! Also if you are in time, the blue on the windscreen should take also this red triangle. maybe paint? Also some cyan blue stripes both sides of parmalat. Now I think it, I'd say I have those decals at 1/24... want them? The red BT49 is really interesting: Used to see it dressed in white for three years, when you see its beginning it's striking!

Ok, TA-DA! Niki Lauda's last Brabham drive the day of his first retirement. Finished until I can get another set of Michael's decals and some tire marking decals. It came out well. Oh, I still need to add the skirts, too. Patrick
