Just finished this conversion in time to take to Indy.
This is the first car that Steve (SWT500) worked on back in 1978 and I believe the first year that Machinist Union sponsored a car.

I really enjoy doing the "obscure" cars more than I enjoy doing the winning cars. This one was orginally the Carousel 1 Johnny Rutherford Gulf McLaren converted into Jerry Karl's 1978 IAM Machinist Union McLaren. Stu
