According to the "unfiltered" non-local forecast, it's supposed to be sunny on Saturday and Sunday. Friday looks rather bleak though. In general though, most of their practice time has been a washout. Saturday was a bust, Sunday, they got some time in, Monday was a bust. Wednesday turned out o.k and it looks like today's going to be good. It's really hard on the little guys. Not enough time to "tweak" and wring out things.

Teams are limited by the engine leases and amount of tires in the first place - I think a full lease only gets you 800 miles of practice. The smaller teams who opt for the partial lease get less than that. Besides, the cars are 8 years old - there's only so much that's gonna be wrung out of them. |

Seems maybe the Gods are telling them something? yea they are saying its may in the mid west dump the rain!! as of the 20th of may we have had 11 inches of rain so far in the month of may! and 7 of them came on the 2nd of may. |
