Calvin, now you're talkin'. The picture helps with visual reference. This looks so good and I'm a big fan of all your builds. But you have outdone yourself this time. It looks better with each picture.

OK, how bout this? ....A "Redneck Windscreen Jig" 2 pliers 2 exacto knives 2 paint brushes 2 inchs of green auto tape 1 scissor All of that just to glue the screen in place! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Dont worry I've done worse! OK enough with that..... now lets talk some serious engineering OK, I dont like to just Stupid (super) Glue anything to bare Resin. We like to put some engineering into our cars Install plastic pegs into the front Then measure out the rear of the tub and drill out at least 8 thousandths larger hole than the plastic pegs on the engine. (press fit....kinda, with glue.... I guess ) Also get rid of the paint ...which I did to expose the bare resin. There! now we dont have to rely on the glue only. It really doesn't even need the glue....its kinda like a Tamiya Snap kit! Now when it hits a bump on the race track it wont break in half!

I'm not questioning anything about this model but I do have a technical question about the real car: Why was the rear wing angled up so much?

I'm not questioning anything about this model but I do have a technical question about the real car: Why was the rear wing angled up so much? Downforce and lots of it ;D This is the Phoenix Car and the Lola always seem to have poor handling on the short tracks for some reason? Thats why I think it had such a huge angle and wicker bill. But the Lola did good on the Superspeedways. If you look in the Indy 500 program there is a picture in there of this same car at phoenix and rear wing looks just like my model wing (kinda)..... like its going to fall off LOL ;D But yet again my rear wing might be a little too much angle but it only seems that way on the left side. There is alot of things I could of done different but it aways takes that 2nd time to get things perfect.

You know the wing angle actually was bugging me last night.... I think its a little over kill on my part. It wouldn't hurt to detach it and bump it up a few degrees. It wouldn't be hard at all to do.
