Patrick Patrick, I have allergies too, but I also have an 11 year ld daughter that wanted a cat and so did my wife. That means I vaccum the house three times a week and I can't have the beast sleep on me...that's all. Now for my other buiklding partner.......is old!!!! Best to you! Russ

So the fact that I spoke for that book first, and then got tied up with my son's house closing for a day means that I don't get it? Just wanted to be clear on that! Thanks a lot!

Brian,
My sincere apologies for this. I did wait to hear back, but the message was a request for shipping only and not , "I want this book". Since I'm new at selling on the board, perhaps, I comitted a faux paux and owe you an apology. Mark did say in his PM to me that he would "take" the book.

If Brian inquired about the book first, then it's only right that he get it.

OK, here's how it's always worked best for me. I post an item for sale, first guy up has priority. I respond with shipping & payment details, then if I don't get a response or payment within a day or so, I send a courtesy PM or e-mail to say "hey, are you still in or not, I've had other inquiries", THEN if I get no response I offer to guy #2. This is how most people on other forums have done it & it seems to work well. I will never respond to an ad unless I'm serious, but I also will not commit to buy until I have all the details. Sorry for my cranky response but this is the 2nd time this has happened to me in a month, I lost an Etzel Stutz on another forum in similar cicumstances. Anyway, Patrick, go ahead and sell the book to Mark, & I'll take Russ'.

Thanks for your reply Brian...Mark?
Anyway, I have enjoyed the postings about our building companions. My Ex used to have a silver striped kitty and she, too, would love to crawl into the box top and take a nap. Thanks for the photos. Russ, has the ancient one arisen?

Well, if Brian takes Russ' copy, I'll take Patricks.
A big "thank you" to Russ for doing something he really didn't need to do.
