Some how I missed out on the following Lance Sellers Resin Cars (or "hen's Teeth!"). So, I thought I'd put out some feelers to see if anyone had an extra kit lying around they's like to sell. I'm looking for the following.
67 Brawner Hawk 69 Westlake Eagle 70 Mongoose 71 Kuzma 74 Lindsey Hopkins, English Leather Spl. 81 Coyote 81 Gurney Eagle 81 Interscope
Thanks, Jim

[You Jim and a lot of us!]
Yes! Hence my quote, also known as "hen's teeth!" But! If I don't ask, I'll never know? "Misery does love company." Thanks Stu.

I myself would love to have the 67 and 81 Coyotes. Lance said there would not be any more 67 Coyotes, so I got the Clidinst plans and am going that route. Nic

Okay...LEt me join the list, but first a word from your sponsor....
(Getting up on my soap-box)
As for cottage industry guys, like Lance, Micheal and Bill.....BETTER BUY THEM WHEN YOU SEE THEM!! Some of us out here think these guys have nothing better to do than to issue out kits for us to build. BUT, better have hard numbers to cover their costs of production. I was most happy to help get Lance numbers for his reissue of the 65 Lotus 38, but Lance had to redo molds, and get white metal done and decals and those things cost money. I'm sure if Lance were to see the profit in reissuing certain kits, he would. After all, he is a business man.
I am asked many times a year, "You know Chris Etzel, why did he stop making kits?" Chris got burnt out buy hearing, "I'll get one of your kits as soon as I get paid.".....then nothing. Don't you think that gets old after a while? So, buy them when you see them and produce hard numbers for him, you may see them again. (Getting off my soap-box now.)
With that said, Lance...er, ah, I'd take another 67 Coyote and a 81 Gurney Eagle please............ ;D
Best to you!
Russ

.....BETTER BUY THEM WHEN YOU SEE THEM!!
Yes Russ, I've learned my lesson well and will not let it happen again, I hope!
I also, thank you and especially Lance for the reissue of the Lotus 38. When they became available again I did not let the chance slip by and purchased a number of those babies! My wife was not happy, but she got over it!

I have tried to get each issue that Lance has put out since I joined up here and got to know him. Maybe, Lance, you can let us know how many items you need to be assured of will seel so that we can help you make a decision. SEVERAL here are looking for the '67 Coyote.
I would REALLY like for someone to help out Bill J. since obtaining items is spotty most of the time. I have been waiting on a paid for '77 Coyote going on two years. I like Bill J., but I would REALLY like to have the Coyote! ;D Somethings I have received right away, but on others, like the Coyote, I have heard that others got theirs before I got mine, and they bought theirs several months, to a year or more, later. Not blasting Bill (like it might seem) just hoping someone can help him get better organized. We need the stuff he produces! If I lived close enough, I would be more than happy to help.

I'm sure you don't want to hear it, Jim, but shortly before the Lotus 38 re-issue, Lance did a small run (13 kits) of the '67 Coyote. I was lucky enough to get one. It sometimes pays to keep in contact with these guys so you are aware of their future plans and projects. Also, scour e-Bay faithfully! I've picked up several Etzel kits and a Sellers '81 Eagle (sorry Russ!) in the last year or so. They can be pricey but I'm pretty sure I could get at least what I paid for them at any time. Keep the faith and just keep looking!

Thanks for your advice guys. I do know how hard these kits are to come by and this site is a godsend. I also have been doing what you've said, but I thought I'd try my luck here with asking for some of the kits. You just never know? I couldn't think of a better place to look for them or get pointers than here on this site! I too am fortunate to have the 67 Coyote and would definately buy another one if they were re-issued.
