You know, I have always wanted to do one of these cars having crawled around the real one. I've always wanted to add the small wings on the sides too. Nice build!!! Looks great!
Best to you!

I agree with Russ...I love this car's design especially with the winglets. I do like the yellow car more than the red ones. Joe's from San Jose when I lived there. I used to see the Sugar-Ripe cars once in awhile, too. Very nice work.

Great work, but you have one of the strangest painting methods I have ever seen HA HA HA ! LOL I was wondering when someone was going to say something about my backwards building ;D All I can say is its all about making the model stronger.

Looks great so far. I have this kit and seeing your great work makes me want to get started on it. I also notice the strange painting method...but whatever works for ya. Keep the pics coming.

Awesome. That's a great looking car.
My take on your, ahem, strange painting method is this: There is a psychological reason why you do things the way you do. We all have different methods or sytems for completing a build, and it's kind of a reflection of our personality. I'm guessing that you are driven by results and the finished product, moreso than by the actual process of building a model. In other words, you want to see what a car will look like before you've finished it and doing it your way allows that. And while your attention to detail is evident, it's not what drives you. You want to see the final product.
I may be way off base with my Freudian assessment, but I'd like to hear if you might agree. It really goes with your Psychology thread.

I know how to add detail.....when the paint job comes out good. ;D But doing the paint job first gives me an idea if its worth putting lots detail and time into the build. Because many times before I would put lots of time and detail on a model to only later have the paint job go to heck, which all that hard work of detailing goes out the window. I've always struggled with my paint jobs, but lately I have been improving. Plus if possible I like make things heavy duty and thats why you see the engine and front suspension on already to have that clean plastic/resin, for a good weld. But yes I like to know if the model is going to come out ahead of time.
