[shadow=gray,left,300] The fastest car in Speedway history[/shadow] I thought I would share this project with you guys... I've worked on it off and on.....I took a shell Reynard and converting it over. I've never worked on a Reynard before... it originally was a glue bomb! Any pointers would be great to hear. This is one of many models Ive been working on...so....I have no time set on finishing it. Also this is my first IRL car build

You're much braver than I am. It looks like it should be a simple conversion at first. I've taken the Revell 98 Reynard out of the box a number of times and even started cutting down around the cockpit, using the Jorgensen resin as a "go by." Then I come to grips with myself and realize that I should just use BillJ's resin. Definately more than a simple conversion.

The indycals are on! Boy Im sure proud of myself for saving this model! It was horrible before I started For what it was Im very happy how this one is coming out so far. I have a few minor fixes to do, but no big deal. Next I need to let it sit for at least 2 days before I clear it and make it look even better. Then I can start the detail and paint all the flat black areas and other parts....

Ya gotta love this group...fearless! Savin' a glue bomb is truly satisfying.

You know, I just have to give you some feedback. First of all, the car looks just terrific. The modifications are excellent and the paint and decals are great. You are obviously a talented model builder. But.......................... Your blue arrows really SUCK!!! ;D
