Hi all. I think that this request is doom to fail, but I'm going to try anyway. I'm looking for a F1 Specialties decal sheet to convert the Kawai Honda f1 kit into the 1983 Williams FW09 which ran in the South African GP. I'm also looking for any feedback from anyone who's built this kit. I've gone over this kit and it's going to take alot of work to make it less toy like in appearance. The first thing that sticks out is the undertay, that battery box has got to go. Also the tires look to be wrong ( too small for 1/20th scale ) this I can fix with a spare set of tires from my Tamiya parts box. You can contact me at my home email which is dgraves8@sympatico.ca . Thanks in advance. Douglas.

I picked up that kit on e-Bay about a year or so ago and immediately contacted F-1 Specialties, was lucky enough to get the last two sheets they had of those conversion decals. I always try to get two sheets when I can to allow for the inevitable screw-ups that I seem destined to experience. I would consider parting with one, but it's going to take a very special trade or plenty of cash to convince me to part with it - LOL! I also agree the kit needs some help but it looks nice when done (I've seen pics of one somewhere). Toss out a few trade ideas and we'll go from there. (Hint - older Indy stuff gets my attention!)
