Great start on that one, please keep us updated. I see you must have heard the same horror stories I did about the kit decals!

I've not tried Tamiya's car decals, but I tried to use their aircraft decals once. It was on their 1/48 P-47 razorback and they were awful. They were very thick, didn't want to settle down in the panel lines and started coming apart with setting solutions. Good thing I had a bunch of aftermarket 'Jug' decals. I can only assume their car decals are the same. Sandy

Color and clear coats have been layed down. A couple of decals have been applied and the front suspension has been assembled. G

Beautiful paint job. What paint did you use (Tamiya aerosol?) and did you buff it out? Sandy

Looking good Duke!!! This is certainly one of those cars that stood out on the grid! The paint on this thing looks killer!!

Thank you Jordan and Sandy! The paint is Tamiya X-10 Gunmetal with Tamiya clear. I didn't buff or polish since it came out reasonably smooth.
