As it appeared at the 1960 French Grand Prix: Olivier Gendebien finished second... A "familiar" mechanic... Saw this in a book 30 years ago and liked the hood scoop and different paint...

I saw this car at the Laguna Classics two years ago. Fell in love with it, but that air scoop is a killer. I remember the covered water line on the T54 and what a pain that was!!!!
See Russ what can be done with your Marx toy!! Yep a bit of work, but DON"T open the engine bay and you'll be all right' LOL!!! Lot's of possibilities for the toy. I want to do 2 other cars...a Walker team car with wire wheels and a Cooper-Castelotti (with a Ferrari in-line 4 ).
Love the work, Alwaysindy. Love the car!

I don't see how this car couldn't stand out in a crowd - the unique color, the airscoop, mixed slicks treaded tires, the detail work, and all of the asymmetry on it.
Just a superb build!! ;D
