All this sudden constructor interest in AOW and Indy is certain to put pressure on Barnhart and the IRL. I wonder how they'll handle it. Past history doesn't leave me optomistic.

All this sudden constructor interest in AOW and Indy is certain to put pressure on Barnhart and the IRL. I wonder how they'll handle it. Past history doesn't leave me optomistic. It really seems like the possiblity exists for a new "golden age" with multiple chassis. All the concepts look significantly different. I really like the idea of a limited fuel flow. You can run any engine you want with only 2 limitations 1) cost and 2) fuel flow rate.

I believe it would be really nice to get rid of the spec racing. Multiple chassis and engines would be a great thing, IMHO. Indy use to be a *run what you brung* type of thing............ 6 wheelers, NOVIs, etc..
