Hello everyone!!!
I need to talk about decals for a moment. Mike Portero at Indycals does some great work!!! I just got his sheet for the 1964 Watson 500 winner is it is GREAT!. I also just got a sheet printed from two guys here in the forum which is FANTASTIC! Words cannot describe how good it is! Keep up the good work guys!
Also, I spoke with Fred Cady the other day. He still has some stock available for sale. He is asking $6.00 per sheet and a dollar an order fro shipping. Fred is he reasons, that after years of building tail-dragging WW2 aircraft I started building Indy Cars again. His address is....
Fred Cady Design, Inc. P.O. Box 576 Mt. Prospect, IL 60056
Some of us that are going to attempt to build the 1965 Pole Winner of A.J. Foyt may need to order Fred's sheet for that car. Keep up the good work everyone!
Best to you
Russ

Fred's were the first aftermarket decals I ever used. I still find them to be very easy to use and have never minded the layering required. At least any registration problems are mine! They always respond well to solvents and clear-coats. His service was always first-rate as well. FWIW - Brian

Yes, I think Fred's were the first after market decals for me, too! I actually called him one night while he was painting his kitchen.
