He joins a long list of sports figures who refuse to go out on top. These comebacks usually don't work out, but who knows. It seems that many people crave the limelight.

Its kinda ironic that 20 years ago he was driving for the Mercedes junior racing programme in the World Sports-Prototype championship

While I'm no Schumacher fan, I think it's probably good for F1 and God knows they could use some good press! I think it's a bit of a strech to think he's gonna be a contender right off the bat. These are different cars then they were 3 years ago and unless Mercedes (Brawn) makes a much better car from what we saw in the last half of 09, he ain't got a chance in hell of running up front.

The commentators made such a big deal about the 2009 Brawn chassis being developed for the entire 2008 year. So what hope is there for the 2010 car if they had to keep developing the 2009 car the whole 2009 season?
I'm not saying the car will be a dog but I have my doubts going into the season. Strange that Schumi wasn't ready to go a few months ago but is now!?
I really hope that Michael doesn't get himself killed like other unreitred greats before him....
