In case you're wondering about the colors: The car is deep yellow - (kinda like these smilies but not as much brown, it wasn't a bright Pennzoil yellow) - with red number balls and lettering, and I THINK I recall the numbers were white, but could be yellow too. All lettering is trimmed in black. I also recall the wheels being a gold color The last time I saw it was about 10-12 years ago. It was on display at the Indy Tourism store by the RCA Dome for a couple of years. I believe it's in the Indy Museum basement right now.

I saw it in the Museum basement in 1994. It is yellow, the red balls have white numbers. I have color footage on a Doak Ewing video of him testing the car.

As a F1isti that builds an occasional Indy car you guys are great! Thank you for your great research. What does the Boeing turbine look like(airplane folks might know if I can establish what type of aircraft it was). It appears that it wasn't too long. Thanks guys.
