Another beautiful build Greg - I love the attention to detail on the whole build and the gearbox detail painting really stands out. That area can be easily overlooked but it really makes a difference in the finished product!

Arie would be very proud. PM me and tell me about your bases. I've always thought the wall was a nice touch.

Fantastic!! I knew it would be after seeing the paint job while it was a WIP. Agree with Jordan, the gearbox and rear end detail really makes the car deep. Overall, any of us that will be tackling this car (me included) have a very high bar to reach for.
Do you do the graphics for the "wall" on a computer? It gives the whole setting a nice touch.

Thanks a lot everyone. Regarding the pit stall: It's an old AMT "high banked" display case. First I cut the sides away, removing the banked portion. I scored where the wall meets the track and bent it to a 90 degree angle then reattached the modified sides. A little putty and sanding and then some gray and white primer and that was it. Instant pit stall.
Gregg- I did indeed do the graphics on my computer. Easiest part of the whole process. I made several different driver/car combinations (planning for the future ;D ) per page.

What font and size did you use? Ariel Narrow. Size 34, just like my pants. ;D Some of the numbers were enlarged to 48. G
