Question: The best way to clean the mold release off of resins is with tire bleach?

Yep. I was told to use Bleche White, the same stuff you use for cleaning whitewall tires.

Wear gloves when using Bleche White, it can do funny things to your skin.

It is always recommended to use gloves for handling these cleaners, but Bleche Wite deosn't do as much to yuor skin as Super Clean, which is an old stand by for stripping paint from PLASTIC models. (never use Super Clean on resin!!!!!!). The Super Clean will turn your skin real slimy feeling in no time.........
BTW: Wesley's Bleche Wite will strip paint from resin parts, and remove chrome.. ;D
