Just an FYI from the local newspaper here in NASCAR country- "Sources" have told ESPN that DP is close to signing a two year contract with Dale Earnhardt's Jr's JR Motorsports for a ride in the Nationwide series. It has not been finalized, but an agreement is 'close'. The specifics are, deal announcement not to be made until the offseason, DP will take the car vacated by Brad Keselowski who's moving up to the Sprint Series, DP's first race could be as soon as February at Daytona, DP will run 12 or 13 races Nationwide races in 2010 and run the full 17 race IndyCar season.

I doubt she'll drive the #88 - I think that is Kelley Bires' (sp?) car next year. Most likely she'll be part of the revolving door of #5 drivers. It will be interesting to see how she does - I haven't seen this many ppl not give a driver even a chance in quite a while!
I hope she does well but I hoped that Stewart, Franchitti, Vasser, Tracy, Allmendinger, Hornish, Montoya, and other open wheel guys would do well in NASCAR - lol.

I wish her well too, but I don't know if her technical (car set-up) abilities will be good enough to help her in NA$CAR. In the end it is and always will be about M-O-N-E-Y.

Car set-up is everything in nascar, and she has not proved she is good at that.
