I received a resin body from Bill J. for Swede Savage's Antares. From !972, I think. Bill did not cast the body I was told, and there is only the body. Being such an unusual looking car, I just have to build it. ;D

I would like any references that anyone has, and any ideas as to donor kits to use for parts.

My computer will still not connect to Google, or other search engines for whatever reason, and I cannot dump and reconfigure it right now, so your help is greatly needed and appreciated.

Hey Mongo!

Maybe, just maybe, now I'm not 100% sure on this one, but, you'll need two kits to build that very ugly sucker! One is an AMT Olsonite Eagle for the front suspension and a AMT McLaren for the rear suspension and engine. Just an educated guess on my part. Check out the For Sale section on the forum, I'll have what you need there.

Hey Mongo, any pictures of this beast ? I have thought of scratchbuilding one if i could get plans, didn't look too difficult. Got to admit it, i love ugly race cars, sick of the cookie cutters. I even scratch built a side car that sits in my showcase.

Hi Rick,

I will try to get the camera out and take a picture plus scanning some of the pics Bill J. sent. I took out everything I have, resin wise, to see what Bill still owes me and packed it all back up. So getting it out might take a while.

This car started out life as a 1970 Eagle , Bob Clidnst has a drawing of the 1970 Eagle.which has different front suspension than the 68 Eagle . You could use the 73 Rear wing from Bill J. also he has them on ebay some times. Lance did the right tires for car , don't know if he still makes them since everybody wanted them but hardly anybody bought them. So I don't know if he'll make them again.

Thanks, Walt. I have some of Lance's tires. I got a few sets even though I don't do many models that need them! LOL!! But I did get them so that if I did build any, I would have them. Will have to check if I have one of the correct wings.

I just got a shipment from Bill, which I greatly appreciate!
