Man, you are really cranking out the decals lately Michael. Will be placing a large order soon.

Been working on the Monogram Ouaker State March for several months. Wish the new sheet would fit kit. Looking for a Monogram decal for the Ouaker State car. The sheet I have, all the major markings are way out of register making my example pretty much unuseable. Anyone out there have an extra copy of the decal sheet they would be willing to part with? Would it be feasible to modify the Monogram Porsche engine to fit the AMT kit? Would it be easier to scratch-build conversion parts? If I can find some descent reference material on the Porsche engine I am thinking about doing a conversion for the Porsche engine, making molds and casting the parts in resin. Would anyone be interested in something like this? Just wondering.

The simple reason I didn't do it for the Monogram March is that I don't have one, and the shape is quite different from the AMT kit which is more accurate.

John - FYI, the later issue (re-issue?) of the Porsche kit seems to have better quality decals. I haven't used them yet but they look much better than the originals. Look for the standard size box, with a hinged lid (not the separate cover, long box). I hope to get to this one this winter and I'll let you know how they work out.

Mike I'm having a hard time keeping up with you, but that's not a complaint! It's great!

I ran across this on YouTube which is pretty good:
This is the first part of a 7 part series.

Watched part 1 before work... it is interesting indeed - I'll probably try to catch the rest of it later.

Really neat video. It sure brings up a lot of "what ifs". What if CART hadn't run Porsche out of open wheel, what if Al Holbert hadn't been killed and on and on. I think we might have seen something special if things had gone differently.
