Well Michael, sell enough decals, you never know. I preferred the Jim Malloy Eagle (hint)

Nice photos Professor!
Once again this shows you how accurate Bill Jorgensen's conversion kit of the 1973 Eagle is. You want to build one of these suckers correctly, you take parts from the old AMT kit, Bill's 73 Eagle Conversion, and go to work. Oh, you must get the decals from Michael at Indycals....those are a must!
Makes me want to build another one!
Best to you all

Absolutely beautiful...One of my favorite all-time Indy Race Cars! I have a 1973 nose cone, the flugel/air deflector wing endplates and supports. I am restoring as a replica of either Johncock's or Savage's nose from 1973. Still trying to decide which. Anyone out there who knows where a set of single element Eagle front wings from 1972-74 could be found. Would love to complete the project. Maybe there is someone out there who knows a fabricator who could build them if I had the dimensions of the wings. I have a pint of M@r1b0r0 day-glo red, but was this the same color used on the STP cars of the late 60's and 70's? It is very close, but would like to get this right when I paint the nose. The flugel wings I have are from the 1974 cars. They have been painted 3 different colors the bottom layer being day-glo red. One of the other colors was copper...colors I believe which was run on the Lee Elkins Bill Puterbaugh car in 1975. They are very neat and rare as they were only run on a handful of cars in the 1973-74 season. Any history on who developed those flugel wings/ air deflectors? The nose when complete is huge!! It never occured to me just how big they really were!!. I also have Billy Vukovich's 1972 Sugaripe Prune Special rear wing that was run at Indy. It is gigantic!! Can you imagine just how much downforce must have been applied when those cars were at speed!! CRAZY!!

Best to you all Russ Hi Sheriff Bart, Do you (or anyone else here!) have one of the conversion kits that they can part with? Knowing Bill J.'s current situation, things are pretty much unobtanium.......... Mongo
