Im thinking about getting an AMT Domino's March.... how are the white decals in the kit? Do they have the famous bleeding through problem

I have a lot of those kits and while I haven't had trouble with the decal bleeding through, I have to say that the white in those decals look somewhat transluscent, if that's the right word. I mean, they look white but they also look like they need a 2 layer to bring out the white. The "Domino's" decals from Indycals are much better but they are for the 1990 winner.

I guess Transluscent would be the best word to use, I the 1990 Indycals sound like a good idea

Mike,
Thats really great to hear. I'll be ordering a few sheets of those, as well as the Provimi decal sheet.

Just for some more info about the 1988 Domino's team, they used the Lola in more races that year than the March. They only used the March at Phoenix, Long Beach, Milwaukee, and Portland, also Indy practice.

Question, what would be the best Tamiya colors for domino's?
TS15 Blue ? TS8 Italian Red?

Italian red is a good choice, but TS15 is way too dark. I'd go TS44.

Italian red is a good choice, but TS15 is way too dark. I'd go TS44. Yes it is to dark, cant trust pics off the Internet. The picture in the 1988 CART Yearbook looks correct. so TS44 its is! Thanks

Mike, Yup. You can count me in for a few copies of that one. ...AND... Any other Lola/March/Penske decals for the AMT/Monogram kits you feel like doing.
