That handsome young man sitting on the front tire of Dale Coyne's Lola looks a lot like me. Wait it is me. I was young then. Another disappointing day with the Stock Block Chevy. I believe this photo was taken at Laguna.

Here's another photo I think has you in it, Kevin (second from left). I believe it must be from Mid-Ohio, where the car ran for two laps before the gearbox broke. I was looking through the 1986 CART Media Guide which has all the 1985 season results and was amazed that Dale entered the car at almost all races that season, usually ending up a DNQ or a very early retirement. You just have to admire the perseverance and the commitment of Dale and his team, it must have been disheartening to travel all around the US knowing full well that the chance of just making the race was very slim. I suppose it would be quite easy to convert your excellent Silver City Lola T-800 into this car - have you considered doing that, Kevin?
