What's the best match for Sunoco Blue?

I did my 73 mclaren in Tamyia TS15 and it looks good.

I did my 73 mclaren in Tamyia TS15 and it looks good. Agreed. That said, Chuck Sprague told me there were two - a more royal blue used on the earlier Sunoco cars and then a darker blue used in the early 70s.

I agree with Michael on the two shades. The *royal* color was used in the '60s, especially on the Camaros and Corvettes. Not so sure as to when th eIndy Cars started showing the darker color.
Scalefinishes has a Sunoco Blue that is perfect for the darker color. I haven't tried MCW's Sunoco Blue, and can't comment on the Tamiya paints since I have no local supplier of those.
