2000 Renske

Here is an upcoming semi kit that will be used with the old Revell/Monogram Reynard kits that we have covered with dust on our shelves. At least now you can use those kits and make them into a unique car. This is what they called the 2000 Renske. It started as a Reynard and then was seriously modified by Penske racing. This car also set a speed record that still stands today as the fastest ever recorded on a closed-circuit track. The late Gil de Ferran was the driver. Included with the kit will be a set of correct marl---- decals, new side pods, new rear wing with mounting pillar, new front wings (not shown), rear bulkhead, Honda engine, new roll hoop, and possibly a few other goodies. I am so happy you are doing this! I’ve played with this one for years and struggled to get those side pods looking correct. Count me in on this one!! I look forward to seeing your air intake snorkel too.

This is awesome and a bucket list build for me. It will be useful as a starting point for other Reynards as well. Most of what I want to build will be curbside so I’d hate to waste the engine if you made an option for no engine as well. But whatever you offer, I’ll likely be buying a bunch anyway.
