Gentlemen: It has become increasingly clear that Kyle has now earned the Open Wheel Board nickname, “The Machine.” At first,(many years ago) Calvin had the name. Calvin still holds the record for “The Most Interesting thread/WIP in History.” Then Jerry took it from him with his “rail-birds” posed on a plank. Now Kyle continues the tradition of pumping out builds while the rest of us struggle with months long ordeals. Not only does he build at a LSR pace, but the models seem to come out flawless… Very well done my friend! As you know, there is nothing I like more than underdogs, flawed designs, and different ways to approach things. Tidy, beautiful, (but slow) this marked the end of Lotus… Keep it up Mr. Machine! Tim

Tim Thank you gentlemen!! I cannot say how much I appreciate the kind words. As for the nickname, we all know Calvin still does more building than ever, just behind closed doors. But thank you. I had a lot of fun with this one. Beautiful but flawed is a good way to sum this car up. Perhaps a fitting way for Team Lotus to end. At least a final attempt was made at innovation and relevance before the curtain inevitably fell.

Your decal work turned out very well. I did that car years ago and getting the green on the engine cover was the stuff of nightmares. Your build looks great.

Oh yeah, some of the decals are definitely tricky on this. Very tough. But I typically enjoy decals so it was a fun kit. Thank you very much!! Thank you Art!!
