In my quest to have a few models ready for painting come our warmer weather, I have started work on my very first March. I have done a few Lola’s and they have the typical engine cover, but the March is interesting with the joint of the monocoque and engine cover going through the fuel filler area. I’m toying with the idea on how to enable the drivers tub to be inserted after the body is painted. I have attached the bulkhead dot the tub, cut the sides off and it seems to slide in ok for now, with paint who knows. I’m considering gluing the front of the engine to this so I can mate up the engine and transmission easier later. The car will be a curbside and I won’t be going for 100% accuracy, just want to get some kits built. Any input from anyone who has built some March’s before is most welcome, if what I’m attempting won’t work please speak up.
