When I would paint a Telefonica car in a computer game, I used the color from the Telefonica logo, which can still be found online. Looked as perfect as anything on a computer screen.
For a paint, as the third photo shows, the real car had metallic or something in the paint. Is there also neon? I'm not sure.

Lol this color drives me nuts. It's the color that should be just yellow. People that haven't seen it real life paint it yellow and People that have seen it in real life paint it green. Some pictures show as yellow and others show the green. On TV it shows up as yellow. This is probably the most upsetting color to me in racing. lol

Having owned an endplate of the car, Calvin is right. In most angles, its yellow. In some angles, its green. Plus there's a pearl sparkle to all of the colors (including the white and blue).
My intent if I ever do this car is to find something made for the Aston Martins "Lime Essense". I think that would be the closest offering.

I REALLY want to build this car. I even have the decals already. I just can’t wrap my brain around a color. I was 12 and the color made this my favorite car of that time period. Lol. Became a Servia fan too. I don’t know what I’m going to do but I’m going to build it one day.

I had a mail call today, always nice to have something for me. Thanks to Juanjo Mas as he highlighted Gravity had the Telefonica Lime Green for the Minardi, it may not be 100% correct for the Indycar, but sure beats having to mix something up. 79F8310D-A3BD-43E9-83F7-15D63E595195 by Shayne Nyholm-Hunter, on Flickr

Very cool. And with this car no one could ever say if it’s right or wrong so the gravity will be as good as anything.

Looking forward to the updates on this one, Shayne. LMK if I can be of any help. Jordan Thanks Jordan, looking around and especially your post on the engines, would I b3 right in saying that the 99/2000 engine covers were blue? The engine may not be completely date correct but it will do. I’m just not finding anything that says blue covers then everything aluminum or if the top area should be a black/gunmetal look.

Not much to update here, except for some exceptional roducts from Chris at GrandPrecision.Net His main area in recent times has been, 1/18 diecast related but luckily for us he has ventured in making parts for the 1/24 Revell Reynard and with the new JR Salvino kits 1/20 Dallara kits. The wheels look fantastic, he has the BBS version I need for this car, along with the OZ Racing as well. Chris also has the wheel nuts, a brilliant looking fuel filler and even a camera. Chris also has the ability to produce e Al’s for the gauges and tyre markings. I’m looking forward to getting these painted up. Go check out the website, I’m sure you will find something to spark your interest.
