I'm working on the Hasegawa 312T2, does anyone know a good match for Ferrari Red?

For that kit, since some of the red is on the decal sheet, Tamiya TS49 Bright Red will match the decal best (I did a comparison under good lighting), otherwise for that era it's a matter of personal preference between Italian Red (TS8) and bright red. In fact I remember someone who built the kit commenting that Italian Red was too dark to match the decal.

I agree with Michael. Ferrari Red is a tough call. Scalefinishes does three different reds by era. And another company that I have not used from Japan (IIRC) does a few different Ferrari Reds. The red did change by different time frames. The TS-49 would be my Tamiya pick for the 312T3. I am going to us Scalefinishes *Pre 1996* Rosso Corso on mine. I have MCW's '50s-'60s Ferrari Red that I have used. it is very close to TS-8.
