I had a great time at the RT contest. Got to meet up with Kyle, Jim Harvey and Lance. I sold enough stuff to reduce what I started with from 6 boxes to 1. Picked up a Heller Talbot-Lago (with all the detail goodies) and a Tamiya Porsche Martini 936 (with 2 extra decal sheets).
My Wasp took a bronze and, Michael, keep an eye out because Fine Scale Modeler photographed it.
All in all a great time!

I want to second Mark's comments about the RT show. This was my first show back since 2019. Thanks to COVID, we just have to be careful in our family. The Boone County Fairgrounds is a great location. Large, modern exhibition space. The show was well organized so thanks to Mark and all the others who helped with this. It was great to see Lance and catch up with him a little. Kyle and I finally met having conversed on this forum for the last year. He is a gem. I had a good day selling some kits but had more fun just talking to people as they milled around knowing we shared one thing in common: building model kits. In this case, all kinds of kits. That's okay but just cars for me. Mark's Wasp was special, so I disagree with the judges. Sorry, Lance if you were one. Anyway, I had a wonderful time. Hope to do it again. In the meantime, I'll be here.

Congrats on the award Mark!! Your Wasp looked wonderful. And I enjoyed your Ligier and the Firefly class Serenity as well. It was great to catch up with you again!! I have to agree with both you and Jim. Great show and great people. Jim, it was truly a pleasure to finally meet in person and get to shake your hand. I had a wonderful day.
