I have a vendor table this Saturday at the IPMS Contest and Swap Meet in Indianapolis (Lebanon). I have a box of various Indianapolis newspaper souvenir, race day, and post race day editions from 1947 through 1964. They are not in mint condition but still make for interesting reading and historical details. Should I take them to the meet and offer to sell them? Is there any interest? If so, any suggestions about what I should do with them?
Thanks for your help. Jim

I will be vending there as well.
I say bring them. We have a fairly big "automotive" turnout, so you never know.

Thanks, Mark. I am at Table 24 so I hope we see each other. I have the newspapers in a file box so they will be coming along. Jim

Hopefully we will. I'm at table 40... same row but the other end. If anyone else is going, please stop by, say "HI".... and buy something.

I’ll be swinging by to say hello to you both!! Probably not first thing in the morning as I’m a night shifter but I’ll be there as early as I can drag myself up there

Bring them while they're still good. I had a collection of Sebring newspapers going back to 1970, and a bunch of programs, all destroyed when the hurricane blew the roof off of the garage where my modeling room was. The heartbreak of throwing them away was terrible, but not as bad as the shock of seeing what they were going for at a flea market. Those left over at the end of the day can be given away to someone that will enjoy them. Happy vending

I agree with you, Frank. Given my current age, the first of these I saved was in 1947. I do want them to go to someone who will enjoy them. I have some racing "stuff" that I am going to give away to each person who buys something. They get to choose one item with each purchase. Won't last long but it will be fun while it lasts. Thanks for your thoughts and suggestion. Jim
