Kyle: A very nice job. For a “simple” kit, it sure has a lot of nice details! Nuvalori was one of the all time greats. 24 Grand Prix wins (major races), a LeMans win, 2 Mille Miglia’s and 2 Targa Forio’s. His greatest drive was in an Alfa Romeo in the 1935 German Grand Prix, the only non-German car to win a major GP between 1935 and 1939. Keep up the outstanding work! Tim

Now that's a great build! Love Nuvolari and (at least somewhat) obscure is always appreciated! I'm a firm believer that those Matchbox 1/32 kits are some of the most overlooked kits out there.

Wow, Kyle! There is just amazing detail from every angle. Glad you have the nimble fingers to work in this scale. Thanks for the history lesson about Nuvolari and showing a Bugatti in a different color than blue. Your finishing work is remarkable. Glad you shared this. Jim

What a cool subject. Ever since I built the Monogram type 35, I have a much greater appreciation for Bugattis.

I'm a firm believer that those Matchbox 1/32 kits are some of the most overlooked kits out there. Thanks very much. If I can, I like to go a different direction on things. Iconic cars are great and I'll build them too but it's nice to do something a bit outside the norm sometimes. Great little kit for sure. This is my first time building one but I have to say I'll be taking a look at the others in the lineup now. Believe I already have the old SS/K lying around here somewhere. Wow, Kyle! Jim Thanks Jim!!, your support is always appreciated. Fingers don't need to be too nimble with these old Matchbox kits. It was a pleasure to build. What a cool subject. Ever since I built the Monogram type 35, I have a much greater appreciation for Bugattis. Thanks! I have always been a fan of the Type 35 and Type 59. Beautiful cars. I'd love to get my hands on a Monogram type 35 and build Elisabeth Junek's yellow Bugatti from the 1928 Targa Florio

The Monogram kit is nice. IMO one of the nicest kits they ever produced.

Very cool Kyle. Fooled me it's 1/32, how do you do that? Especially being magnified in the photos, looks great.

I love unusual liveries. Very cool subject and very well executed! When I was a kid I built all these matchbox 1/32 scale kits.

I’m reading the Brock Yates biography of Enzo Ferrari and he describes Nuvolari and this era in great detail. Certainly a lot of interesting characters behind the wheel in those days. Lovely build.

My first of these old matchbox kits but based off this one I’d for sure build the rest. I’m reading the Brock Yates biography of Enzo Ferrari and he describes Nuvolari and this era in great detail. A really nicely built model. I have one of these in the stash to build alongside a little 1/32nd scale Airfix 35B.
Matchbox made a lovely little range of 1/32nd scale car kits back in the 70's 80's. Revell now has the moulds and release the odd one from time to time.
1/32nd scale seems to have dropped out of favour a bit over the years having remembered the Highway Pioneers, Gowland, Aurora and Pyro kits from way back. Airfix have persisted a bit with some new and some repops of older kits. The scale carries on well in the slot racing scene and a good source of different bodies.

I was out of town for work and totally swamped. Haven’t had time for anything. This was my first foray into 1/32 and I really enjoyed the kit. I also have Matchbox’s Mercedes SSK to build at some point. A 1/32 scale type 35 would be a welcome mate to this Bugatti and I’d also like to build Monograms type 35. I also have a couple of the old Pyros in 1/32 and a beautifully molded Lindberg 1928 Lincoln. The small scale stuff is fun too even though I don’t dabble in slot cars.
