Gentlemen: Has anybody seen this documentary? Garner got the racing bug while filming “Grand Prix.” He formed race teams that competed in IMSA and Formula A, which is American F5000. He calls Hobbs “Davey” and Penske looks like he’s 30 years old… Scooter Patrick at St. Jovite in 1969—Surtees TS5 Second place Daytona 24 1969 —-Penske’s LolaT70 won I give it 4 stars for cool cars and a true life “behind the scenes” viewpoint… Tim

This is indeed an interesting old doc that culminates in a wild multi car crash on the opening lap of the St. Jovite Formula A race. Luckily, no one was seriously hurt. It starts at the 1:22 mark. It's good to see how formidable Sam Posey was in this era. Most only see him as an Indycar TV announcer from the 90s. Enjoy. Oh, I almost forgot the Sebring Le Mans style start!

Yes, this is a good documentary. Not only for the old footage of the cars but it's different to see James Garner as a concerned owner and not just an actor.

I saw it a few years back. Loved it. I got to meet Scooter Patrick about ten years ago. He was really cool.
