I was quick in '04, '05 & '06 to say that Danica would win that year. 1 win in 5 years isn't spectacular but I'll be interested to see if she can find championship speed in her 6th, 7th, & 8th seasons. It will be interesting to see if AGR continues to struggle or reestablishes itself as a powerhouse team in the IndyCar series.

She might win if the Penske and Target cars run out of fuel or crash. Face it, Kanan can't win in AGR cars anymore and he is much better than Danica. Until we see a rules change with more than 1 car and engine, the most money will win. Her 1 win was legit, but hardly a side by side battle for several laps. She is not one of the 6 best oval racers in the IRL, and Roger and Chip have 4 of them.

Thats to bad.... no more rumors im joking You know, I wonder how much of this was stretched-out for the media effect. They may have actually come to agreement weeks ago. In my mind this is a "no-brainer". Everyone that leaves for NASCAR goes there for the $'s but she should be raking in the $'s anyway. She definitely has unfinished business in IndyCar and there is a hell of a lot of downside risk were she move to NASCAR.

Danica signs......BFD!!!!!
I guess I'm one of the few that didn't wet my pants that Patrick has decided to stay in the IRL. I would have liked to see her o to NASCAR and see what her whining would have gotten her with "The Good Old Boys." She'd sound like Rusty Wallace after a flip at Daytona. I am not a fan of Ms. Patrick, but hey, baseball had Barry "Balco" Bonds......I guess every sport these days needs a freak show.
Just my 0.02 worth

I guess this means Army Group Danica will break through to the bunker after all!!! ;D I totally agree with you Russ. She's worn out her welcome and can't produce results. She actually performed better in her rookie year than she has in the past four years since then. But she brings sponsors............

She's ahead of Justin Wilson, Graham Rahal and her own Teammate, Tony Kaanan. That's nothing to sneeze at. Though, I do get tired of the cover girl crap.

She's been very consistent this year...5th in points, I'd say that is respectable...and I'd call that 1st in the BML(Back Marker League)...because really is there anyone that can beat Penske or Ganassi? ....oh and I never get tired of scantily clad women.

I'm waiting for Danica vs Milka II! The towel in the face was the best! To bad Milka isn't the driver that Danica is, we could see some fireworks on the track! Then again I think there is a lot of talent that is better than either of them sitting on the sidelines because they can't bring the sponsorship money they do. That's what really sad.

Hey, Sheriff Bart,
Danika would have a hard time in NASCAR but they would HAVE LOVED TO GET HER! NASCAR, these days, is the VERY WORST when it comes to greed. And Danika would have brought them tons of (short term) money.
We had a young lady in the car for ARCA testing back in December at Daytona. She was a sweet girl, but just not yet a driver suited to big cars on big tracks............
People think I am a *little* touched in the head, but I can REALLY see a certain ex open wheel driver making a return (and he can now that he owns his own team) to Indy, and probably in the company of some big ol' Texan who won there a few times (geez, he's even runnin' that ol' Texan's number in NASCAR!). He has said many times that his life long dream is to win the Indy 500. ;D
