I don't know what I have done to deserve the friends I have here, but I sure hope I can continue to do it.[/quote] This is a quote from my buddy Craig Miller, from 8 years ago. I knew he was a “Dan Gurney man”, so I sent him a figure I had worked up…
I quote this because I certainly appreciate the friends I have here, and often forget “the shout outs” for guys taking care of me and sharing this hobby with me. Since Gary left us, I noticed how much I had interacted with him. He commented and encouraged me through most of my builds. Gone now, but not forgotten…
Dan(Racepark) sent me a Sellers kit right after the great Flood...he also sent me the grills for the Aston DBR1 Jerry (1961 redlegs) sent me the louver decals for the Maserati Bobby(bobbyc) sent me the '25 second place decals Craig (hotshoe) sent me 3D printed wheels Walt(old photos) with personal history from the Speedway and essential (Clidnst) drawings Kyle (kyledehart) has become an essential long distance call and fellow reader Juanjo(jj66) has sent me wire wheels, 3D printed tires, various decals, and parts for the ‘62 Thompson…and is my long distance Catalonia/Barcelona buddy… Gary(gwstexas) has made me enough custom decals to fill a bathtub…Most that he will never sell again… And of course; Calvin, Michael and Lance… 3 of the four resin casters on my Mount Rushmore…
So in this season of thanksgiving and celebration, I am grateful for ALL you guys! Thanks for the comments, questions, and encouragement. Thanks for being in my life and sharing the journey! Tim

Back at ya, Tim!
Any who think modeling is a solitary hobby, think again.

My feelings exactly Tim. I have met (even if not in person) some great friends on here and I am thankful for all of you.
