This is Calvin's kit and a nice piece of work. Undoubtedly, the new 3D one will be even better. This was a really close race between Johncock and Mears. It must have meant a great deal to him after 1973. I always have fun with Day-Glo but this turned out okay. Believe it or not, but I did the blue tint on the windscreen with a blue lightlighter usually used for books. Kyle DeHart has offered to post some pictures if I can get this part done. Fantastic! I'm always happy to see a Wildcat built.
I'll eventually replace the white metal with 3d parts, but my next reissue will still have white metal as I have a bunch laying around. As for the rest of the kit, there won't be barely any changes. Same resin everyone loves.

Great looking model! I remember that race very well as I was rooting for Mears while my Dad wanted Johncock to win. Looking at this model I'm glad Johncock won. Don't know why but I guess it's because this car/model looks so good.
