#7 1954 British GP Maserati 250 F Stirling Moss

Another build from a Merit kit. It is the Maserati 250 F that Sir Stirling Moss raced in the British GP in 1954.





I start by flattening windshield support area. For the louvers, I designed and printed them in 3D and it is necessary to adapt  to the body, making the corresponding holes.











Before placing them, I assembled the front and rear axles, including some improvements to the suspensions and brakes. I also redid the hood paneling.





Glued the louvers and integrated them with putty.



Finally 3D printed exhausts, rims and tires before painting.

I am running out of adjectives… I can’t see it, but I’m sure the cool Maserati Trident is on the front grill…such a fantastic car! From 54-57 it was highly competitive while taking on Mercedes Benz, Lancia/Ferrari, and Vanwall…You sure make the Merit kits into awesome builds! Congratulations as usual!

I finally found time to finish this green Maser. Painted with Tamiya TS-43. Walk around and family pic with other Merit kits. More coming.
